I don't use Facebook, so I thought following Toy Pizza on twitter would be good enough. It worked well for the last drop, at least. But the GITD stuff just popped up with barely any notice. I grabbed the new hats and slicers and armor, just in case, but if anyone ends up with an extra GITD knight or blank white guy, let me know. Or I guess it's off to eBay.

The VJ armor looks fantastic in metallics. The copper set has been one of my favorites.

You & me both. But, I bet someone grabbed extras for the sake of selling them off

I really want to like KOTS but they are way underproduced, there's not enough drop warning, and imho blind bags are just alienating. It just doesn't feel like the rest of the interconnected & welcoming Glyos family.

Good luck to them sincerely, but seems like a secret society isn't the best business model, especially with so many people who like to collect things. :(

It's a tough balance, but honestly, I'd rather seem them under produce than under sell. We've seen enough on the Glyos front of figures not moving and makers not making profit.

They aren't under produced, they are just really hot right now.

Have you seen some of the recent auctions for these figs lately, they just continue to go up & blind bags of these figs are non-existant anywhere.

A lot of people jumped in on the line around wave 2-3, just when the embers were getting hot & a lot of those figs are super hard to come by because people were doing customs with them.

Unlike Glyos there are several items to choose from and almost always something left in the store to purchase days, sometimes weeks after a drop.

If you're wanting to be a completest, be patient, things will come up and sometimes at retail prices, it's a matter of right place, right time to get them though.

=)

Hey guys, does anyone know if KOS Vector Armour fits (or even partial/parts of) the Four Horsemen Power Lords (human Adam Power type) figures?

Also, while we are talking about Vector Armor, what is you guys' experience with it? I got the two vector Jump figures from the first Onell offering, but when I tried to take the armor off of the brown figure, it broke in half. I meant to email Matt about it, but kept forgetting, and by then a couple of other drops had happened.

I went ahead and grabbed the armor from this latest KotS drop, mostly because the figures sold out and it felt weird paying more for shipping than product if I was only buying some hats and slicers. Hoping it won't break if I put it on one of the knights I do have.

It broke...as in 'snapped'? I thought the Vector Armor was PVC. I haven't received mine yet, what's it made of?

It broke apart at the shoulders. It appears to be molded in two pieces and glued together. Seems like a bad idea to have a glue seam at the point of flex for disassembly.

Maybe mine is a bum piece, though. I've briefly looked over the Facebook fan page, as it's not a private group, and haven't seen other people complaining about it. With all the customization and part swapping being done, you'd think it would happen more.

It has happened before and it's happened to me. It still can be glued back together it the tabs haven't snapped off. I tend to take the base figure apart and so there's less figure to deal with and most of the time the torso piece will fall right out of the armor. It's not that delicate of a joint, but if stressed enough the parts will separate when flexing.

I'm not promoting this guy's videos, I just happened to run across one while trying to pull some video files on a non-pizza related topic.
But, I'm sharing this here because he has Knights of the Slice on the shelf behind him (starting at 1:30), and I thought that was great!

Totally spaced on the drop today. Missed out on that bee guy. If anyone here grabbed an extra one they'd be willing to part with, let me know.

Same for that GITD one from a little while back, lol. Hope you managed to find one Netkid!

These are really cool, did you post them on the KOTS FB group or on IG?

I'm sure Jesse would love these.

No, I don't really use fb and I don't have an Instagram. If I can learn to 3d model properly I plan on turning the paper models into actual 3d models.
