Meet the Krangboth! The new Metaluna Mutant Crayboth disappointed me with the stock paint mask instead of taking advantage of the mold to give him the character's brain veins, which got me to wondering what other brains I could recast the toy as. I always like ideas that let me paint parts on a mold that usually go untouched, and the body molding for the Cray was perfect for Krang's tendrils.

that is really great! it totally does fit the crayboth sculpt so perfectly. not a bad idea for a new paint mask (not neccesarily as krang but just as any cray with an exposed brain).
great idea and great job!!

Outer Space Men set #3 is a battle set - Syraxia "the Orc Breaker" VS. Ivar "the Boneless". Will Ivar be enslaved or will Syraxia be devoured?

Wow I am seeing some real cool customs from you guys lately. I haven't made any of my own in a very long time, so I figured I'd give it a shot again with what I have on hand.

And I did another one. I call him The Warp Heap

Image

Basically, after putting like half my extra Glyos parts on Ebay, I'm challenging myself to make builds with what I have left. Probably see a couple more guys in the next few days.

Thanks! I agree the Knights of the Slice upper arms really do look good on this guy. And his left banimon arm kinda looks bird-like so I went with it.

Also made another guy. I call this guy Dome Diabolos. His head-dome glows in the dark.

This is just an update of an older custom. The biggest new addition is the custom cloth thing.

Thanks, I was using a pretty bad pair of scissors on a pillowcase. I think it actually helped

Exactly; the Banimon arm works great as a bird claw and is striking against the KotS arm.

I love it when customizing "accidents" give unplanned amazing results.

I've never seen a Mordle customized like that, it's awesome!

Over the past few days I've been working on this weird Avian that I've been calling the Orovor...

Thanks. The mordle was a huge pain in the ass, but was worth it with the end result. Also, I am digging the hell out of the mix of clear and colors on your birdvor guy.

Here is my personal use Gearius head. I don't have a second Gearius MK2 to compare it with side by side with.

The paints I've used are Tamiya Color Acrylic Paint XF-1 Flat Black, X-11 Chrome Silver, and Gundam Marker 16 Metallic Red

There is a thin line of black paint on the underside of the dome. The left eye, neck, and even under the neck has been painted with one part silver and two parts black. Both of these were drybrushed

The scars were painted using a toothpick and is constantly touched up, giving a continual change and sort of live feeling to it. There is no topcoat applied to the scars and they tend to collect dust and darken, almost as if it's scabbing. When I go to touch it up, I take a toothpick and scrape off the old paint then apply a new layer

A physical modification I've done to the mold is that I've hacked away at the two teeth on the side and sharpened the center fang to a point

Gearius spends a lot of time in my pocket with a scarf on

Sneak preview of a WIP custom

Looks alot better in person. My camera picks up every little flaw, especially on small objects close up.

Thanks. That guy was a pain in the butt with all the little details, but holy cow I was impressed with what I managed to end up with.

As for your OSM stuff, I am digging the hell out of it. What's that doohicky you got between the Gemini mod?

Made this guy on a whim. Guess the arts and crafts stores bringing out their Halloween stuff is getting me in a macabre mood. He stands almost exactly 2" tall. Everything but the Skeleden head is made from epoxy putty and the legs are supported by paneling nails driven into the head, so they are pretty damn sturdy. And like my previous creepy guys, the eyes glow in the dark.
