A Great Loss for the Glyoverse!

Today many of us learned that Ralph Niese passed away yesterday evening from a massive heart attack.

I was just thinking of him last night while watching the ToyPizza Livestream guest starring Matt Doughty with the reveal of the Star Marshall figure.

I had been texting him just last week and he was saying how he'd been slammed with work he was doing for a movie and a bunch of other projects, and hadn't had a chance to ship out my artwork. (LOL Typical Ralph in my experience)

I know there is bad blood with some people, but you can't not agree that the man was a huge growing talent and influence across the Indy Art & Toy scene.

I feel lucky to have what pieces I have purchased\traded from him and the long friendship since i first started collecting OMFG\Glyos back in 2012.

You will be missed buddy! RIP Ralph

So sad. So thankful to get to know him and experience his artwork.

Man, this hurts, Glyos wont be the same without him. I commissioned this from him back in 2011, and I feel fortunate to be able to hold an original piece from him. Does anyone know how old he was?

That's an Amazing Collection Art Piece.

37 is way too young, but seems like most great artists are taken away way too early most times.

I was pretty distraught for the entire day, looking at art and old rarities I got from him over the years.

Really gonna miss our sporadic conversations.
