Also attached are stills from the gifs we're looking at. Black has a single sword, Red has a shuriken, and orange might be duel-wielding, which might be the case since I cannot find an empty hand.

I totally forgot about these! I remember me and my cousins being into TMNT and the 3 ninja movies, as well as the Ninja gaiden video games and when these little Ninja's came out I was all about them!

Thanks for the blast form the past NoPaint!

Ahh whoops, the attachments didn't seem to attach.

What's interesting to me are the lower faces. The black Glyninja has a split down the center, the red as two splits (which resembles the familar three-prong Pheyden mouth and LSA chin) and the orange has three splits. For the most part the rest of their body's are similar. The orange one's chest design also reminds me of the Sarvos upper torso.

I've noticed the mouth detail too.

Some kind of faction insignia, perhaps?

Marc Beaudette has been posting teasers with the prisma app filter. This is the clearest one so far of the BitNinjas.

I'd be quite happy with something new but to me it looks like the normal glyan head with an upside down scarf

One can dream.

Well we were both right! Haha

I hope all three glyninjas come with glyarmor. I think only the orange one has it in the pic though

OMG those are nice. I hope I manage to get one before they sell out, especially since my last Ebay auction set netted me a little extra cashto spend on myself.

Also, digging the hell out of all the parts-sharing lately, particularily the Robo Force "tonfa" and "knife" pieces.

The story of the Glyninja somehow reminds me of this book:

Hey, is it just me, or is that a new head sculpt? The older Glyan helmets didn't have the "plate" above the visor as these do, seems like...

I think it's new.

And I'm really looking forward to it.

It is, from Matt's comment on the blog

"...the new Glyninja head is reversible, with an alternate side that might appeal to folks who dig the futuristic soldier look."

I think it is too. At first I thought it was the reverse side of the Arrgen head, but I climbed Mount Shelf to look at my Argen and saw no resemblance.

Yes, the Argen head is also too wide, and removing the top part would make it too short.

It's gotta be a new mold.

Tough call, can't seem to tell if the Glyninja would come with Glyarmor seeing how the Glyninja Black doesn't come with it on by default.

I see the orange one has glyarmor, so I would assume the others do.

It might be that the red and black guys don't so as to have a couple of ninjas available at a less expensive price while Glyninja Wheelie would give people who where interested a shot at a bulkier version that cost a little more.

It's possible that all three Glyninjas come with Glyarmor but I'll be fine if only the orange one has it to differentiate it. I'm interested in seeing whether or not there's matching swing joint sets, and to a lesser degree matching axis joint sets, to add some extra mobility to these Glyninjas. The alternate side of the new head mold is also very intriguing, especially after Matt's comment of it being Real-Type inspired. After reading the background post about the Glyninjas I looked at the Gendrone Chronicles comic again through Matt's link in the post. There's a frame or two with some soldiers in there and I'm not saying that's what they're gonna look like but I wouldn't be surprised if there was a resemblance.

wonder why the black is the only one with no tampo on the visor. has it on the shoulder like the other two.

could the red glyarmor parts have been used on the toyfinity release of darkness soldier? if so that could mean there is some other figure that might be using the black glyarmor parts? (darkness soldier crossover in black???)

well, i guess we'll all know in less than 20 hours.

Well I personally wouldn't mind if only the orange had it. Orange is my favorite color and that's the one I got my eye on.

If you look at the crotch piece, you can see it lacks two paint apps that the red one comes with, the orange one has paint apps on the Glyarmor knee guards, and this might be me, but the orange shoulder looks like it's a darker orange like its painted.

Matt settled the Glyninja/Glyarmor speculation to rest in comments of the most recent post (Glyninja Urai):

Tana(Black) and Iken(Red) do not come with Glyarmor but do come with one reconfigured Robo Force blaster each.

Urai(orange) does come with Glyarmor(as shown above-he's more of a samURAI) as well as one reconfigured Robo Force weapon. You can build the longer staff/sword by combining the RF blaster with the included standard issue Glyan blaster.

We wanted to have some variety within the Glyninja ranks, as well as some options for those who prefer a basic Glyninja as opposed to a beefy type.

There will be some limits in place for the first hour as per usual.

Thank you!

I'm more interested in the idea of capsule toy bit figs.

It may give me something to do when I'm waiting at a store :D
