Toyetic wrote:I knew it getting delivered today wasn't going to happen. The Postal truck (with someone that wasn't our usual person) drove up, dropped off the regular mail, and drove off. An hour later the package was deemed "No Secure Location Available" from that "attempt" because the postal worker was too lazy to walk the package up to the door despite the car in the driveway or the four people inside. So now with no slip I get to spend the next few days arguing with the postal service about where the heck my package really is before they auto-return it. Last time it took a week to locate a skipped delivery. Yay... :pangry:

That must suck.

Good luck getting your figures!

This makes me even more regret not getting a second pair of orange swing joints...

Got my Ninjas today! What good fun and I love Matt's post about Channel 56 (as I watched that all the time as a kid too!) Like the alternate Ninja face ...reminds me a little of Gobots. :gobon:

Got my ninja today. Pretty dang cool head design. I love the reversible side of the head and hope future drops take advantage of it.

The thing with this new head is that it looks awesome with a scarf, but in my opinion is way too thin without the scarf.

I don't know, it just looks a little odd.

last night i had a thought. i wonder if the glyninja head will serve double duty as the replacement for the protoclone head. with the right paint mask the full face plate can easily become a cyclops (ala gly-clops on a glyarmor head). on noboto a cyclops protoclone could become a cy-clone.

I don't think the Glyninja head is wide enough.

It would work, but it'd look kind of out of place in my opinion.

you're right, for some reason it looked bigger in the picture but when i opened my package today and saw the new head,,, its just as tiny as the regular glyan head. oh well, something else to look forward to (the replacement for the protoclone head that is)

as for what i got today, i hate to admit it, but i really dont like the red or black ninjas as much as i thought i would, love the orange one tho. the crays are great (including the stowaway, really nice blue)

sadly i think it's time i back off a bit and stop getting hyped up over the drop pictures :(

Yeah, I think the ones without Glyarmor just look at bit off...

In my opinion, Glyarmor is the best thing to come out of Glyos in the past year. Not just because of the figure itself, but because it's so versatile and really does make old figures seem new.

Got my Glyninja Tana yesterday! Although it's gonna be Glyninja Cane to me. Love this thing. The head is a little too skinny for my taste, but obviously looks great with the scarf.

Axis and Swing Joints help the look on the non Glyarmor Glyans, for me at least.

Well, isn't the Darkness Soldier the same red as Iken? If so, it might look pretty cool to swap some of that armor around... ;)

If I ever get ahold of it, I'll try the armor swap :D

Thanks, but I think I'm fine. It's a great figure but I've got some other Glyos priorities.

dude, i'm in the same situation, lately i have forgotten my glyos priorities. i'm sure SOME of you are like me and can't afford to own every version of every figure. ;)

@ toyetic, thanks for the plug! :) i only bought a 2nd one of those cuz someone replied to my wanted post, made a public post AND sent me a PM about helping them out on the drop. then they changed their mind. so i got stuck with a duplicate. no worries, someone will need one.
red really isnt my fav color anyway.
..speaking of which, have any of you seen the grey darkness soldier yet??? holy smokes. it doesnt appear to have the white around the eyes and it looks meaner than sh!t. i really hope its a soon to be released figure.

I already want more Glyninjas colors, and more matching axis and swing joints and scarves... lots and lots of scarves. And don't forget the RoboForce bits and lets get some Banimon swords as well.

Here's my Iken and Tana for now. I wanted to try out some metallics for their weapons so I threw in some ultra silver and gunmetal RF parts. Still working on Urai because I needed to settle on a complimentary grey since we didn't get any axis joints in that matching color in this drop.

Image

Speaking of colors, is it me or does Ku's bone yellow and Oni's burnt red favor Diversus Orbitron's accent colors? Hmm...

The grey from the Tracker and SFV drops is close enough to not distract my eyes too much on Urai.

Been playing around with the extra left over glyarmor & glyan parts from Rai. I added some orange axis joints to a freebie Lost Sincroid Army figure I got last drop. This Glyninja orange mixes well withe LSA orange.

Image

Also had some fun making a 4 armed Goro type Glyninja.

ImageImage

Then they gained sentience and fought each other in the front yard.

Image

The added parts from the Commander Comet OSM figure really adds a lot of character to this Varteryx build, gonna have to make little platoon of these.

Thanks MW, but I can't take full credit. The hips are swiped from a build by the Main Man himself all the way back from the Swing Joints debut in 2013.
