That's awesome, and now I kinda regret not grabbing one.

Speaking of paint, how did that Mystery Glyarmor turn out? Is it the same red-orange as the Mystery Figure?

EDIT: Was it common knowledge that the new "propeller blade" piece could fit over the new "drill bit" piece and turn it into a spinning propeller? Because that is brilliant.

I hope it's not too soon for some...

It's difficult to say if one is taller, because the perspective changes by angle. Mechabon is a nice, beefy upgrade from Gobon's spindly limbs. I was worried I wouldn't like him. But he feels more like a big brother, less like a tie-in.

I ordered the armor without the mystery figure so I'm not sure if they match.

Wasn't able to grab the regular mechabon but after taking it apart do you think theres a second piece in the middle like the old ones? The center doesn't seem to be glued in but I couldn't pop it out after taking a hair dryer to it.

Can someone confirm something for me? I got a set of glyarmor in black and on my older sets it appears that there are two different size limb guards, one for the legs and a slightly bigger set that fits on the arms/hands.

On the new set I got, all of the limb armor is the same size and I can’t make it fit the hands, in particular for the Varteryx configuration. Did I get a mismatched set or is my old armor just stretched out and the size difference is in my mind???

The old armor that comes assembled with the figure is stretched on, the raw armor never goes through that. All the guards are the same size.

If you heat up the 'stretched' armor and let it cool for a day or two, it should go back to its 'raw' size and shape.

I have a very difficult time fitting the limb guards over the hands, unless I heat them up first.

Thanks, I was at work and had to really just keep playing with it to get it heated up, I got one on but have to keep working on the other.

FYI, Matt confirmed in a comment on the blog that there is no hidden mechanism head. “That's just a parting line, nothing hidden in there except some more PVC. “

Anyone noticing that the fit functions for the axis joints aren't as tight as they used to be. I reconfigured the new Argen into the form shown on the blog and anywhere axis joints connected to anything else the fits were loose. Sometimes ridiculously, free spinningly loose.

I've been noticing that for a few drops, but it seems to be fixed by putting everything through a heatbox, disassembled, and letting things cool for a bit before heating up just the socketed parts.

My Argen was fine when I rearranged him, but that's because my mailbox was a heat box, and it felt like these figures came out of the oven when I started messing with them.
