You know a technique from the game Tribes I use to love? Skating. It basically involves holding down the jump button, putting yourself in a constant free fall, and sliding off terrain. Not to mention there are different armor types like light, medium, and heavy. With that, I'd like to draw parallels with Glyans, Glyans with one Axis joint, and Glyans with two Axis joints.

That's good to know, because I hear skate wars and automatically think of something like this:

According to Matt's old posts the word Skate is completely incidental, had nothing to do with skateboards, he just liked the word in 7th grade. I'm really fascinated to see what this drop looks like with how much of it influenced what would eventually become Glyos.

Kinda looks like updated Capture Exellis Colors w/ the yellow becoming beige/light tan, but closely resembles Ranic colors w/ the addition of the orange.

Whoa, that's a bad ass axis armored Glyan. The gun is similar to the one I made for my Axis Legion Glyans too.

The 'blind' Glyan helmet is pretty awesome. Gives the OG Glyan head a nice refresh.

I suspect that may be the reference, since we have the Guyver blue on one, and the reptilian look to the other. (Also, "Evolver" as a name evokes some Guyver memories or another.) Good call.

Love the color on the Quallerran Evolver, but it was a pass for me due to I have cut back on the figures/ colors I buy.

I thought I was late & wasn't paying attention & grabbed the Phanoid by mistake. Kind of surprised nothing has gone off world yet

I feel like the Elpherios Evolver fixes some of the issues I have with the Glyarmored Noboto... but that's a big price tag to fix that problem. I think seeing the Glyarmor on so many things since it's introduction has gotten me tired of everything having the same look. I'm finding myself looking forward more to the one new Pheyden per drop than all the Quallerrans because we get so few of them now and they tend to have some really clever and intricate colors now. I think I'm ready to get back to build waves of Gendrones and reverse colored Travelers and let all the armors take a break.

I'm glad there were no Armodocs this time. Easier on the wallet.

Ugh. I was going to double dip on my order and pick up a few more Glyans, but I wanted to make a bulked up build and couldn't remember the recipe. Finally dug up the Crayhunter guys I was thinking of (in my still packed up from moving stash, not the website archive) and it turns out it was only one axis joint set. Which are now sold out.

Edit: Was looking at the store again, thinking about what enhancements I could make with hub sets or swing joints instead, and I see the axis joints are back in stock. Grabbed a couple of sets and a pair of Glyans. Hopefully the listing was not in error.

Thought it was strange that the main color sold out that quick. Glad you could get 'em! I was just looking at the store again and made the same discovery, jumped back here to give you the heads up. Good things come to those who lurk...

That was my immediate 1st thought. A pharoid phanost. Now i'm leaning more towards a brainoid phanost. Either way, looking forward to it. Only got the osm, the pheyden and the mystery. Been kinda broke this year.

I thought to get a Phanost head Matt would have to run the whole Sarvos torso, that's a lot of extra parts unaccounted for.

I was thinking about this too. The price was $12 versus the normal $10 for a Traveler, so it seems unlikely to have a lot of extra parts.

$12 has been the going price for the mystery Pheydens with the standard part count. I remember checking the count on this one and it was actually one less, so no scarf I assume.

No, but we don't know what it officially is until it shows up next week. I expect Brainoid given the colors of the drop, but we have seen curve balls before.

You may have actually missed the lore added to some of the sale pages: Quallerran Elpherios and Quallerran Ryllzaur. Those weren't there last night, they popped up this morning when the display images started to change for OSM Cyclops and Quallerran Skaterruin in the shop.
