I got a package today!!!

It wasn't from Onell; it was from Callgrim! I placed an order for a figure and a bunch of warp packs for building AFTER the drop Tuesday night. And, BOOM...that stuff is all here already. My tracker can have all sorts of big nasty guns at his disposal.

Speaking of packages, I actually got a package a week before the drop. Ordered 3 more Granthan Corps LSA, got 1 for free and a 2017 Black Phase Arm set, thinking it was a generic black phase arm set. It looks a little more matte, but I didn't bother actually comparing.

I don't seem to get shipping notices. Usually when you guys start to get them, my stuff magically appears on my doorstep a day or two later.

I don't even get shipping notices anymore, I changed Paypal addresses and since then I haven't gotten notified when shipping was added to my order. I wait for everyone here to shout it then check for a tracking number.

I haven't received a shipping notice for years. I just check Paypal for a tracking number every so often.

Oh, maybe thats why I don't get a shipping notice. I've just been using my credit card directly since the new store debuted.

Regardless, I won't be surprised to see my order show up Monday or Tuesday. Can't wait!

Okay, you're right that the Knight of Darkness is a 100% rip off of Darth Vader. Star Wars cast a huge shadow in the late '70s.

Pheytron is about fifty times cooler than I would have guessed based on the earlier spoiler. They really did bang-up job on that for a redeco. If Matt is trying to make me buy every blind-buy he does, he's succeeding.

The Vector Jump figures are pretty amazing - this is actually more or less what I imagined Glyos would look like in a few years after I hopped on board thousands of years ago. They have opening backpacks! Also, they have backpacks! It's crying out for a weapon though. It's really superb, there are hidden pizza slices sculpted all over the place. Interestingly, the neck, torso, shoulders, waist, and thighs are reused. The shoulder armor snaps on, the arms and lower legs are new, the head is new, and the chest armor is a clamp-over piece - of which the backpack is a part.

My first reaction to the Vector Jump guy was "Now what do I have to do to beg Matt and/or someone to run it in quasi-NES console colors?" Sure, $20's pricey... but it's REALLY NEAT.

I've been out of the scene for awhile, but still following the blog here and there. Sadly don't have the budget for glyos like I once did, but I did bite at the phase green vector jump figure, and was mega tempted to add the matching qualleren but decided against it.

It's like Matt read my mind and threw one in as a freebie! These figures are such an amazing evolution from what came before. But man... after seeing the Pheytron... I MUST have one. I realize it's a long shot but if anyone grabbed multiples there is a lot I'd trade for one in your favor as I am soon going to be thinning my collection to the bare essentials.

Not very happy with the knight of the slice guy.

His shoulder armor comes off pretty easily. It doesn't fly off if I shake the figure, but touching it in any way will usually knock it right off. Maybe hitting it with a hair dryer and trying to reshape it will help.

The chest armor though... I was disassembling the figure and prodding at the chest plate to see if it plugged together or just slid off the torso after removing the head, and the thing just snapped apart at the shoulder. Is it not supposed to come off?

I was really looking forward to the KOTS Vector Jump figure, but I was a bit underwhelmed when I got him in hand. The shoulder armor falling off so easily bugs me, as well as the overall proportions of the figure. In the end, it just doesn't work for me. Shame too, since I got a couple sets of Axis and Swing Joints to use on him. He'll be a catch and release for me. Maybe I can make up some of what I spent on this drop

I'm absolutely loving the Pheytron and Tracker figures though. And I'm digging the little orange Crayboth that was tossed in as well.

Gotta admit, Vector Jump was a letdown for me as well. I dont like how loose the shoulder armor is or that the torso armor is glued on so swapping it isn't an easy option. For the heavy price I thought it would work like Glyarmor and I'd have the other parts to make a standard KotS figure or be able to use the armor with another figure. Never had a KotS figure before, it's a bad first impression to make for me.

So if I'm reading this right, the knight's torso armor piece is NOT removable, it's glued on, and some of you snapped it in half trying to remove it??? Is it not made from the super durable glyos PVC??? Please explain.

The torso armor is removable, but you have to take the head off first. Then you can carefully spread the armor and lift it off. It's pretty snug.
