These deserve to have a thread here!

Image

It's really great to see the Battle Tribes molds being added on to and expanded so more characters can be brought to life! These figure designs are great! The seaweed draping off the shoulders, the new heads, and the new hands definitely bring a creepy vibe to these. Who all got in on these and what do you think? What would people like to see going forward?

I got the three deluxe figures and a green builder.
I wonder if the Nightstalker is the same color as the vampire bat that spy monkey just released?

I was wondering the same thing. From the pictures alone it looks like the WoW fig. might be slightly more purple and the BT fig. looks to be slightly more pale in color. I guess we'll find out when these start showing up in the mail! I would definitely love to see some PVC colors shared across these lines every so often just for the possibilities of mixing and matching even more.

After this pic, I almost wish I had gotten two Bog-Nars. A matching Lime green Cthulhu and Barbarian set would really nail my goal right now: a super merger of all three versions of the Tribes body to rule the world... also maybe re-issue Not-He-Man, Battle Tribes? :D

That would be great! I also hope we don't have to wait too long to get a slime version of the Bog-nar and Cthulhu figures, because I really love that translucent green.

That's great news, combining all of those pieces will be one of the first things I do when these get here.

I really like the old god head (cthulhu) but every figure i get i keep putting the bat head on. I keep trying to have other heads on em but it just keeps going back to the bat. Its just so well sculpted.
I know, wrong thread for a battle tribe plug. ;)

I was thinking last night how cool it would be to get some female characters.
At some point I'd also like some more human heads instead of only having the "savage adventurer" sculpt.
These are all long term wants, I know small companies can't just bust out a sculpt, get the molds made, and start producing it.

I'd love to see a female show up but i think one problem with producing females is they either have to have a short bobstyle hairdo or no neck articulation. The long hair warrior female would be hard to make because the hair has to drape across the shoulders and i dont want to see a seam halfway down the length. Believe me, i would love to have some tarrakian females. :D

Possible third option: separate ponytail / braid piece that plugs in?

Thats actually a neat idea for custom potential. Other option of course is the shaved head. But i'm not a fan of that look. :|

Oh there are wayyyy more choices. Beehive, Afro, mohawk, 80's teased. I really like the ponytail idea, but I would like it to be a side pony. Bring back the side pony!

Yeah, they're mass produced and just had their first release this past Sunday at manormonsterstudios.limitedrun.com.
All the figures are sold out at this point, but they'll have future releases.
Similar to Battle Tribes, it seems like they're primarily using Instagram to keep people informed about upcoming releases. That's where I heard about them, at least.

Love it, wish i could have gotten more. I think I'll add a little chain to his staff like the larger figure.

I got the DX Doppelganger, the Nekroid, a Toxic Inferno Bog-nar, and a couple of inferno builders (gotta have plenty of appendages for lava attacks).

I know how you feel, that inferno trans red is a dream. Makes me hopeful to see some other lines come December releaseing molds in the same colorway. Axis and swing joints please, Villser is a must! Also mayhaps we will get an infection Nemesis from the godbeast. Bio-mass monster as well?!? Glyos has been severely lacking trans red for some time. This was a welcome addition to the Warlords/Battle Tribes line. That Nekroid Head in the red looks like a melting bloody zombie skull, it’s just so gruesome, I love it! I want an army of inferno undead for my Demons lords!

Also hats off to blanks sticking around for more than 10 min this round!

Yes, I'd love an infection Nemesis and Bio-mass monster too! I bet we'll see the red Nemesis sooner rather than later, because I think Marty is really into the infection color. TGB is probably where we'll have a chance to get infection axis joints too.

Also, I got my shipping notice already. I don't expect it to actually make it to the post office today, but if it did I might actually get my hands on these new guys as early as Monday! I've got a five day weekend coming up with Thanksgiving, plenty of time to play around with a big box of glyos.

Bought the 4 new ones on release day! Can't wait to get them to add to my Battle Tribes collection! Missed out on series 1, but I think series 2 is equally as good!

I'm really digging the toxic inferno Bog-nar.

I also really like the orcblight colored Bog-nar, I just wish he had the red/yellow eyes of the standard release. I have ordered a second one, I need to get some good paint to redo the eyes on my second figure's head.

I went a little nuts on tonight's drop. I got the bigger all-in bundle, the C2E2 exclusive + battle builder, then an extra Muck Thing and extra Polar Vortex Bog-nar.
Hands down this is my favorite wave that has been released so far.

What?! There was a new drop? With GITD? And I missed it?
Rats.

First Knights of the Slice, and now this. Where do they announce this stuff?

Instagram is where I get my updates for Warlords of Wor (https://www.instagram.com/warlordsofwor/) and Battle Tribes(https://www.instagram.com/battletribes/). They also have facebook pages, but they're not updated as often. The GITD figures were only announced about an hour before the drop went live, and they sold out within a couple of minutes because Brandon only made small amounts available so he could have some for C2E2.
The good news is that almost everything else is still available, including re-releases of the Wave 1 figures with updated paint on the Nekroid head!
