Could we be seeing a micro Star Wars homage drop?! That big Zetonian would make a pretty convincing R2 unit!

From what I could gather, it’s an homage to a villain named Vlix from the Star Wars droids cartoons?

Yup, and apparently a collaboration effort with 16bit.com http://www.16bit.com/fotd/180712-glyos-vlixden.shtml

The Mystery Glyarmor set to "fatten" Pheyden up would make sense.

All I can see are eyebrows now. I'm not feeling this Vlixden figure, although the blue PVC is very nice.
The 16bit.com story is pretty cool too.

I think that's why we get the second photo that shows, yes, the "knuckle duster" port aligns with one of the sockets.

Wonder what the other version will look like, then. Maybe we will get a Cerberus to go along with Hades?

How dare you doubt the Mechabon's strength! SHAME!! :pangry:

All kidding aside, I had a similar thought but Kranix makes a good point that the other arm can swing over to held hold it.

I'm still keeping my fingers crossed for an alternate head that's a proper Renegade sculpt

Wow! Killer drop!

I've been super late on the last few drops, but luckily have been able to get almost all of what I wanted.

Was on-time for this one and spent about double what I normally do. Craziness!

Awesome, awesome awesome!

Gahhhhh. Mechabon sells out while I'm loading up my cart with all the extra bits to pimp him out. *weeping/gnashing of teeth*

Here's to hoping he'll randomly show up in the shop again at some point in the next few days as they sometimes do...

On the up side though, that Neo Standard Pheyden looks really sharp!

I am gonna flip if we can make a V.I.N.CENT out of this.

So with a con coming up I didn't want to spend too much in spite of the new figure, still went a little too far... then I noticed Villser wasn't in my order, when I went through he wasn't in the Featured menu. So just had to double dip, which I don't mind outside of an extra shipping cost, and officially brought this to the most I've ever spent on one drop. Hooray for short-lived goals!

It's a great drop, so I can see how it would turn out to be your biggest. I definitely spent more than I was planning to as there were so many great options! I think my biggest drop ever was the one with Sunstorm blocks and accessories, but I definitely went really heavy on the drop that had Hades MK3 and this drop is very similar in colorways to that one.

I also went well over, it's very difficult for me sometimes, I usually find that unless I'm dead on with speculation (which recently has gotten a bit more predictable-up until wave 74) I spend more than I planned. last drop was the first time I went under and whittled down my cart. This round however was nearly impossible to do so, just for fear of being cart jacked like the Captain was.

Hey there's some new interesting lore and a reference to a new character in the store.
Image
The extra parts allow you to create the mysterious Traveler Sedah, a being with an important connection to both Hades and Phanost.
Add a Phase Arm Set* to complete the build and find out if Sedah's skills are truly a match for his battle hardened rival, Hades!
*Phase Arm Set sold separately.

I really love the look of this Dark Spectre figure, but damn, $16 is getting pretty pricey for a traveler! I suppose with the Extra set it's gotta cost more to produce and I'm thankful for the addition to the build station of the black Traveler and Glyarmor to mix up with the Hades extra set. Another thing I've noticed is those build station pieces still seem to be going pretty quick. I'm hoping for a re-up on the Glyan in the build station, maybe this time in black, oh and black swing joints are coming according to Matt, so there's hope!

I grabbed a couple of figures...definitely the Revolution Mechabon. That red was tempting too, but I had some restraint. :D

I cannot say the same. I went pretty hard last night and then snagged another Dark Spectre this morning to make Sedah.

I kinda agree, I remember when Travelers used to be $4... Obviously there are more paint apps and stuff now but...eh.

When was this? I mean, granted, my memory is shot, but back in '07 and early '08, it was $10 per before coming down to $8 later in '08 for a good, long while. Granted, I know there were MONO and unpainted runs, but I don't remember them ever getting that low. Junkshop, maybe? :?:

I've never seen a $4 Traveler, even the LSAs and Reverse Pheydens that were in the Buildstation for years never went to $4. $16 is steep for a Traveler but between GitD, heavy paint, and an extra set that we haven't seen all the paint of yet, I think it balances out. I always advocate for Travelers to be inexpensive so newer fans have something to buy without breaking the bank and it always helps when an inexpensive option is also available, we have that this drop.
