thanks dude, i love eyes like that, i was considering putting one on the chest of the figure where the star is ( i might still...)
btw did your figure make it in the mail safely?
Figure arrived wonderfully safe! I'll be doing a little review for you sometime soon, when I get a chance to play around more and think about it.
Preview: It's great!

You're on a crazy train, and I LOVE it! That Slime Cube Head/Bonker Weapon is sweet, especially with that eye on there. (Gravity Falls Homage?)
Thanks for dropping the newsletter link, and check your PMs!

Heres a head I printed for the GUAC, its glow in the dark PLA filament.
haha i need to finish this eventually but my main priority is to finish the wonder witch
speaking of, ive revamped the hand parts a bit, the rings on the hands now work with legos/megablocks. So i think this will make for some interesting combinations. Im working on the last new piece I think the final figure with have now, bringing the final part count to 20
As I work on the parts I think about secondary uses not only for other glyos figures, but for different ways to play with them in general. The feet have little star patterns in them that you could use to stamp stars on things, or squish star shapes into dough or slime. The hands can attach legos on the back of the hands (you could use the shark tooth like pieces to make spike weapons maybe, you could use the hands to make some kind of cool lego-connected glyos cannon etc...) The "final" part im working on is a small turn key that will occupy the back slot of the figure, pulling the whole thing together into wind up toy thing.
like thisThe holes in the key are a bit wider than a glyos port, but meant to fit between the head and the handle of the slime mace weapon i posted earlier, so it can be held on the figures back. In addition, I am adding small indentations to this part so that it can easily hold bubble soap, be placed on the handle of the mace to transform it into an actual working bubble want
Ill have some more pictures to post soon, thanks again everyone whos given feedback, comments and everything!

Hey everyone heres my update for this week~
First up - new printer arrived, this gamecube sized box will be making the first run of figures, it can print ABS (the stuff legos are made out of) so I can vapor smooth them and make them all glossy and pretty
My plan is to make around 10-15 figures for my first sale, then the next to have around 10-15 again, with around 10 of a new figure, or a special version with new parts. I would like to try to make a few new designs a month and now that I can actually print in a good material I'm really looking forward to it.
Also each sale will launch with a small comic (heres a preview of the first one)
In addition, the store is being revamped a bit right now to match up with our main site (burritogalaxy.com)
Oh, and heres some more building I did when I got my new AV robot in
thanks everyone who follows the development of my figure and stuff, its a lot of fun to make!
oh also the figure has a themesong by my buddy and composer KF now

I might recommend a Lulzbot. That's what me and my business partner went half and half on.

Hey everyone ! Just got back from showing my game/posters and stuff at magfest. Had a good time got to meet a bunch of glyos fans as well.
I still want to do a drop soon but I've been really busy with 3d work recently, not that thats a bad thing.. but I'd like to clear up time soon. I really want to make sure that these are the best they can be, and I might be running another round of beta tests here and on twitter (several people have been asking 3d printing questions on twitter! thanks for your interest about this stuff)
Some changelog stuff
-adjusted the shins a small amount, they are a bit longer and the "stripe" indentation is more noticeable
-some minor changes to the head to allow it to seem more defined after vapor smoothing (Might go through another iteration of the head though)
-scrapped the old cane/pegleg in favor of a uniform cylinder shape, rather than a cone
Other notes
-started rough sketch of another figure, a little round ball guy with two legs and antenna
-messing around with more action features kind of got a springy thing to work/firing small pegs. Its hard to get stuff like this at the glyos scale though
Peace!
