Who else here likes Mega Bloks?

I know Mega Bloks is hated by many due to it's only recently improved quality (BIG improvement) and for copying Lego. FUN FACT: Lego actually copied another British company I think is named Kiddiecraft.

Regardless, Mega Bloks is awesome!

Never gave Mega Bloks much thought until they started their COD line. I liked their take on the mini figure from a Spider Man movie set I once got for my son but they made improvements with the COD mini figures by adding articulation & the swappability of gear/weapons. Now their Halo line has it. I also grabbed the DaVinci Glider mini set from their Assassin's Creed line because it looked pretty cool. It would've been a cool coincidence had they landed the Walking Dead property. Wouldve been awesome merging that zombieverse with the COD zombies. I'm not too high on the McF sets and their somewhat limited use.

A good majority of us like the Call of Duty (& Halo/ Assassin's Creed) sets for their figures

Absolutely. I've been way more interested in Mega Bloks than I have Lego in a while. Some of the recent sets have been truly fantastic builds. Currently working on the NMPD Pelican Air Base

I will admit the the Pelican didn't make that great of a Signature series set at least. It's cool, just doesn't feel all that special.

Agreed. I like the set itself, but it's no signature series. I think to make it that caliber they could have made the building section attached to the landing pad larger and a lot more intricate. There was a missed opportunity there. Not to mention that the Pelican's canopy is more of a cream color and isn't even close to the light gray it was supposed to be.

I've seen two sets of codes. I got mine from walmart, the toyrus ones were different except the android krang.
leo: A08105MM
raph: A09105MM
mikey: A10105MM
don: A07105MM
shredder: A11105MM
foot ninja: A14105MM, A06105MM (Toys R Us)
4arm ninja: A15105MM
android krang: A05105MM, A12105MM (outside code was the 05105 but the code on the brick was this one, there may be ones coded on the outside the same)

Yes! I found these yesterday as well. I have all the blind bag figs except for the 4-armed foot clan. The code on my Krang figure (bag and stand) was A12105MM. I also picked up the 4 turtles in their "classic" style in the collector series boxes. I didn't find any sets at all besides these and a couple of the Nick design turtles in their own individual small sets.

My toys r us had the entire product line in the front "new stuff" section along with the nexo knights beside it best looking shelf ever I just need to go sell a kidney or something so I can afford it all

Mega bloks definitely outdid Lego on the license this time around. I love the android krang with the little squishy krang in its belly.

Yea these are so awesome, way better than how Lego handled it imo, although Lego minifigs can only be so accurate so I don't blame them really. Megabloks really succeded in making a scaled down version of Playmates action figures. I'd love to go all in on this line but I'll prolly just cherry pick a few figs.
I found some blind bags at target and all the codes were different so I had to do it the old fashioned way.

These were super tough to feel for. It didn't seem like it would be a problem but the only one I really knew for sure was Donnie because of his bo staff. I could not for the life of me feel mikeys pizza slice or leos comic book. So I randomly grabbed another that I knew was a turtle and not Donnie an luckily it was Mikey just like I wanted for my first sampler.

The Target code for Mikey is A18095MM.

They are very cool I just wish they had elbow articulation, and all their eyes were printed under the mask like Leos is. Also it seems their heads put alot of strain on the neck peg when trying to move it around on the ball joint, kinda worried me. Also mikey only gets one nunchuck :x Other than that the minifigs are awesome can't wait to see what future series will hold.

I went into this thinking "Classic Collectors" line, but the Nickelodeon guys are so damn cute! I seem to be hip deep in both versions now. The Nik versions are my favs, but the Classics look great next to Mega Bloks Halo. :)

The tight head fit is a real concern for this line. I am recommending a slight touch of lithium grease before assembling. Lithium grease is reportedly safe for plastic and I've been using on the occasional Glyos joint for a couple of years now.
