Nope. This thread has nothing to do with dusty old literature about fear and existential questions...
(unless there's a movie, anime, manga or any other contemporary media version of it)

As a shameless self-declared horror movie buff, it itches that this forum doesn't have a dank and rancid pit for bloodletting, mutilation and all other manner of unspeakable goodness. Of course, you may share your thoughts or finds on anything related to horror as well. But just note the board's rule on NSFW links, images and language. Since the subject matter can often be quite "interesting", I'd request anyone posting questionable content with a NSFW warning and hidden links rather than embedding said media in the post itself. Hope that's reasonable enough for the admins.

Now that's settled, should the admins feel this thread is too awesome, feel free to delete it. Rest assured, I won't hunt anyone down to exact exquisitely excruciating vengeance upon thy dearest kin. Too busy with the kids these days and the wife'll kill me first.

That said...

To start the ball rolling, we need to cut off...

Oops... I meant to say, I've recently rediscovered my love of Japanese manga from the works of the horror maestro, Junji Ito. Sadly, much of his glorious body (literally) of work has yet to be translated in English. But you'll be able to get a sizable sample of his madness if you search his name on YouTube or online. If you enjoy deeeeep, grotesque, mind-bending body horror that creeps you out like nothing you've ever experienced, seek him out.

Enjoy. And share the insanity here.
