Glow glow glow! I am particularly glad that Jon is willing to produce the earlier characters in new colorways to create complete sets.

I haven't looked at the site for these guys in a long time but considering the current prices (Have they been that way for a while? I don't know, like I said I don't pay too close attention but $40 for 12 figures seems pretty good...) I'm finally considering picking some of these guys up but I had a couple quick questions. Is this still a valid Glyos line with a potential future outside of what's already been produced? And, if so, are there any plans for more articulation in any potential future figures? (primarily concerned with thigh to pelvis here more than anything else). The lack of movable legs killed my interest even though aesthetically these would be in my top 3 points of interest Glyos-wise without that, as I see it, flaw. (I buy to build, not to collect, hence my opinion). If anyone has any info they can share thank you in advance! :)

Hi WTGTIV!

Pricing for the figures has been the same since we launched the full production figures. $7 for the painted figures and $4 for the mono colored figures.

Currently there are only the two sculpts out (rhino and scorpion), but I am really hoping to get the next 4 (lion, gorilla, horned lizard and ant) out this year. It has really come down to time constraints more than anything. I took on a more demanding position at work a little over a year ago, and also have had to do a lot of stuff to the house this past year, which has pretty much eaten up all my free time.

As far as more articulation, not at this scale. We would definitely like to run a larger scale, fully articulated set (GI Joe or MOTU sized) but for now that is nowhere near fruition.

If you are on the fence, please grab a couple so you can see what they are like in-hand.

I'd suggest one painted and one unpainted.

Dude, got them today. Having them in hand I understand now why movable legs would be tricky and they don't negatively impact the neatness the way I thought it would. Also, the tiny details get eaten up by the metallic swirling on the unpainted gold scorpion so thank you for giving me the chance to see him in flesh up close too, makes a world of difference in clarity of feature. These are awesome.

You're welcome! Thanks again for picking them up!

I'm glad you like them.

Yep, that is exactly why I sent the flesh one along, ha ha!

Enjoy! :)
