I just did a quick sort (I'll need to double-check) but my animal bag had no painted cats in it. It did, however, have a few dogs in grey, fully painted. The header card figures seem to have cleaner paint ops than the capsule figures, so if you're ordering a bag, ask for header cards with figures to go with them.

My bags came in today too. Yeah, the paint on the header card figures is much cleaner. With the ninja series I wound up getting most of the unpainted (all but 2) and then a total of 9 different kinds of painted guy between the bag and the header card, so like 31 of the possible 50. With the animals it only looks like there are 10 different ones to collect, the painted and unpainted of each animal in its corresponding colors and if you just wanted the full set of painted guys I'd recommend skipping the big bag and just getting a carded set.

Okay

I'm going to hunt for these the moment I can.

Just for that.

These *don't* come in capsules, right?

These come in capsules, with no paperwork. It's just a figure in a little plastic thing.

Joe, I know the Block Ops capsules, also SSM, have been reported at WalMarts.

I assumed that's where they might be. Thanks!

Oh god... I'm going to have so much trash *maniacal laughing* or cat toys. Probably cat toys.

Keeping a few sets for myself, one for a friend, rest we're selling at an upcoming convention at 50cents a pop, hopefully I'll have time to make a sign for Glyos and toss GlyosConnect on it. :)

You two got off way easy. I had a whopping 19 out of the possible 50 Ninjas. The "random" of the capsules was way, way off to the point I'll never order from SSM again unless it's just card displays. One single white Oni with minimal paint (not the full colorful display paintjob of the carded version) and that was it for Oni entirely. Not even unpainted versions in the bag. Urai was probably more than half the bag plus a single fully painted figure. No painted figures for Tana or Iken, just a few unpainted colors each. A single painted Black Ku and the rest were unpainted colors except red.

Crap, I just caught that. You got grey dogs? Wow, I only got standard on all 5 animals, none of them were off-color.

And Toyetic, it sounds like you got a rough assortment. I don't know if it helps, but keep in mind that SSM is used to selling to vendors who just pour them into gumball machines that are then used by kids who grab one or two here or there. They aren't used to catering to individual buyers let alone collectors who are looking for a huge variety in every bag. I'd be more than happy to trade with you if you'd like so you could get a bit more of a spread. I put up a post in the trading area with what I have, just shoot me a PM or post there if you're interested.

I've only had a chance to check TRU so far. They had one sticker machine. No wonder they're not eligible to receive the cool toys. But I have a larger loop planned when I pay some bills this afternoon. It's fun thinking about finding quarter machines that have probably been hiding in plain sight for years. And I haven't had a quarter sack this large since college laundry. Won't mind extras. These will be fun to paint up.

I think the one thing that would have really elevated Bit Figs would have been some sort of male glyos to female brick adapter. Just a flat little 1x1 piece. Maybe a second female glyos to male brick piece as well. Could be a valuable selling point for people who have no idea what Glyos is - yet - but have brick vehicles and playsets that Bit Figs would be great to use with. And imagine the new Glyos builds when the brick library is unlocked. I have a spare set of big chunky Mega Bloks Halo truck wheels. They'd look awesome attached to a Robo Force kit.

As strictly Glyos, these are great but niche. But get building blocks involved, and these could be insanely popular for years to come.

I feel like building bricks in Glyos kind of defeats the point of a strictly peg-and-socket system. It would then also come of as another "Lego copy," and I really don't think it should be seen as that.

Inspired by, at the very least. The black factory paint on the eyes and teeth missed their mark so I switched to blue to cover the overspray.

20 painted figures in my assortment. I think I have enough for a set of painted ones. Going to keep around 50ish total I think, try to sell the rest at a convention. Any unsold are getting painted and sold til I recoup cost.

Has anyone actually found these at a store yet or is everyone just purchasing them from SSM?

Turns out here in Fargo, ND we only have A & A Global Industries Co. distributing to the vending machines :spcry: .
So that means I'll have to either wait to hear back from SSM Vending, or buy the next wave that will be released via the bitfigs site.
