The extra figure threw me off at first, and then I remembered it was part of the club :D It is pretty awesome and has been added to my Imperious crew.

I'm loving the test shot figure. I hope, and can't wait until this becomes a production reality. It plays so well with the Robo Force kit.

When was it mentioned that it would be included? It was a complete surprise for me!

It was mentioned way early on when the club was announced. I was just thinking "hmm... when are we going to get that figure" and viola (don't worry, I know I spelled it wrong), we get it :)

According to the email in November, the Mystery Modules will be sent next, which have me super excited.

It was only one specific place, Bravecarrot, like the Toyfinity Facebook page or John's Twitter or something. If you relied on the Toyfinity blog or the old OT forum, you never would have seen it.

And...I sure miss the ability to order Ultimate Editions without detail lines, but I can see why that wouldn't have ended up being practical, I guess.

Still haven't gotten word on what Jesse was tossing in as his incentive for Club Zeton.

=)

Initially when I signed up for Club Zeton this was a pretty cool perk. At that time I was pretty set with passing on the detail lines since all the others didn't have them. I knew Imperious would have them but I had already settled on Basic Maxx over Ultimate Maxx. Well, once I had Imperious I was legitimately bummed I passed on Ult Maxx because the extra paint & detail lines were worth having. I legit wavered on Cruel & the Gang though, at one point I was going to go with the Ultimate without detail lines. I finally decided to go full on Ultimate with detail lines and lucked into an Ultimate Maxx. I appreciate that Dr Kent was willing to give us the option but they just look too damn good the way they're intended.

Wait wait wait, that's still a thing? Because it wasn't, like, a menu option or written anywhere during the Cruel and Brutal order. I just assumed we ended up not being allowed to do it.

That being said, since Imperious Maxx was lines-only, I sort of resigned myself to poor Vanguard and Battlestar never matching anybody else, so I probably would have ordered them with detail lines anyway, but still. Is this one of those things where if you're not in the Facebook group you don't learn anything?

Yeah, it makes sense I never saw it. I'm not on Facebook and never had an OT account.

I never bought an ultimate (except for Imperious Maxx that I got in Club Zeton) so I don't know for sure, but it might have been on the club exclusive page.

I assume its a thing even if it wasn't solicited. I know for a fact it was an option for me but I asked him directly via email and after mulling it over (and lucking into an Ult Maxx) I went with detail lines.

To my knowledge I'm not in the Facebook group, I have the app and an account but I rarely check it or do anything with it. My preference has always been Twitter. There isn't much that goes through Twitter though, its my preference for other news or interaction otherwise. I contacted him directly because it was a club perk when we signed up that we hadn't had a chance to use yet.

It wasn't something people ordered heavily, though I must have solicited it because I did ship out at least one (and have a couple of the RF versions going up for sale when Cruel goes up for sale in the store next week).

Just to clarify for those that don't remember, it was that we could do Ultimates without detail lines whenever an Ultimate Edition was offered. We can't add detail lines to any figure - I wish we could. I would have a Vanguard with em for sure.

Will Cruel be available again in that huge pack that included both ultimate versions and weaponeers?

Glad that my Club Zeton package arrived safely yesterday, my Onell order has been floundering since it got into Texas.

What can I say that hasn't been said about the test shot? I can safely say I was duped because I was pretty set on it being from one of the other Toyfinity lines. A certain Onell made me say "ah, I think I know what the new figure is going to be". Nope, wrong, red herring.

I don't know what we can start saying about it yet but one critique that may come up is the height. Speaking for myself I think since this a refreshed version in the evolution of the character/s I find it fitting that there isn't a disparity between it and most Glyos related figures, which includes Maxx. I personally am looking forward to seeing it with paint masks/accents to bring it more to "life".

EDIT: Oh, and the companion figure from Callgrim/Rawshark was a cool bonus to find.

This has been happening more often than I like lately. I wonder what the deal is.

I definitely want a painted/matched colorway with a Robo Force drop. I've been building with mine and it definitely opens up new builds, especially with the placement of Glyos sockets.

My Onell packages show up within a couple of days, but since November with a Mordles order I started to notice all of the Toyfinity boxes taking a week or more to arrive. I thought it was just me until the other Texans spoke up. I don't know if the Club secret item arrived yet simply because I'm out of town for the moment.

I really can't wait for Cruel to go back up for sale. I skipped out on him the first time and am not ready to skip him again. I just hope the super ultimate standard/reverse set is brought back :D .
