Thanks to a couple of helpful board members I was able to get my hands on a few of the Esedeth robo force figures (and you can see got one of Balok's tanks in that sand color I'm so fond of). I also found that Vanguard mixes in nicely with those colors. He's like a super elite defender now. The darker orange of defender may not be exactly the same as the esedeth red/orange, but it is really really close.

Well... To be honest... I love all the drops but that Darkness Soldier just screams 1970's and I am all about that.

Sadness...infinite mounds of sadness. Because I am still trying to wrestle my PayPal out of the clutches of my ex wife, and MY bank account is attached, I have no way of using any PayPal services right now. I can't transfer, I can't purchase outright...no Robo Force or Darkness Soldier or Zeroid for me tonight...unless someone wants to trade for a Founder Exellis, still with original packaging? In exchange for grabbing me a couple of figures from Toyfinity? Anyone?

So I decided to spend a little money on myself for the first time in a long time and got me a Darkness Soldier. Holy crap, is it awesome! Sure it's mostly Glyan and Glyarmor bits, but the new head sculpt is a thing of beauty and makes me look ever so forward to the actual Knight of Darkness release!

Also got the yellow Maxx Modules. Good grief, with so many different colors, I woulder what the heck kinda build this all will culminate in.

Also got the yellow Maxx Modules. Good grief, with so many different colors, I woulder what the heck kinda build this all will culminate in.

Considering that they're all colors from the unreleased original wave 2 figures, I'm hoping that the plan isn't to make a new Robo Force character who is a combination of all of those unreleased figures.

I'm still holding out hope that we'll eventually be able to get the rest of the kits for each module.

What if all the pieces we're getting now just happen to be the few he doesn't need so there's a future drop with some of the canceled figures pre-built in the correct colors? If Dr Kent was getting full RF kit runs with each batch, he's going to have a lot of the unsent pieces in the right colors to assemble a few of those characters while we're currently assembling a new "unknown member" to join them.

While it's an interesting idea, I really doubt this. If he just gave out the unused parts to us, then those not in Club Zeton would be left buying an incomplete RF figure. While they could cost less, the versatility of RF is what I think is the major attraction point.

Man I'm super psyched! For those like me who were late to the game and aren't Club Zeton members, here's what's been posted on John Kent's twitter and instagram.

Wonder if we'll get to see the Knight of Darkness soon?!? Also, I'm crossing my fingers for some new Mordles as well!

Either way this is shaping up to be one killer drop!

I love the opportunity to get more Glyarmor, and In particular, the combo of the Darkness head with the Glyarmor gives the new life to the Glyan base!

Honestly with all of the new drops across the glyos lines, I'd totally forgotten how awesome this Darkness Soldier was. Thank you John K. for reminding me once again!
