You could try this. Pretty good articulation:

The extra disc goes to the back for wings. If you got 1 more swing joints and a pair of SMC wings, this is what you'll get. I think you'll be left with some small axis halves tho. Hope this helps.

I've upgraded my Virulant Infectionaut into an even more monstrous abomination!

These are some nice builds, mech. There's a little bit of an Inhumanoids vibe to them, and it just works, especially for the Buildman.

Interesting concept, Un! What went into that build? I think I see an Outlander or two in there...

Oh, and speaking of virulent strains...

We are not sure how the technovirus spread. At first, we thought maybe it was something from the Villser, but...

...some aspects clearly weren't organic in nature. Wires and cables burst forth from once-proud warriors...

...and soon ran the risk of infecting others, as the infection brought aggression and the means to spread the contagion.

Even now, only the bravest can face down these twisted machines. What made this? And why do they broadcast of Argen's former revolution?

Excellent bio-mechanical build here! That's some great integration of the AV Robot parts into that build. Seeing this made me realize that with the gunmetal AV Robot, someone could probably fashion a pretty good Stannic.

This is the closest I came to a solid Stanic build. Maybe if there is a uniform cross-company colorway (like "Gears Edge") an even better Stanic build could happen from someone like Roy. ;)

Hah! Thanks, guys. And maybe one of these days, I'll take a shot at Stannic. Might need to hunt around for those parts, though...

Oh, while we're on the subject, I tweaked the build further:

ImageImage
Spindly arms are always creepy, right?

Seems the poor Mushi has gotten even further corrupted by the technovirus...

Image
So many infections . . . there's no CDC in the Glyos System, is there?

Just a comparison between the Villser Argen from a week or so back.

ImageImage
Part Robocop, part Samus, all tablescrap build.

"What if a badly damaged Pheyden needed a new body?" And here we are...again.

Image
Robo-shorts?

Thanks for looking, everyone!

I did this a few months back. With all the gunmetal out, maybe I'll return to it.

Well, while I've been a bit active on the Glyos Facebook groups, I hadn't really done much more than lurk on the old Glyos October board, so I figured I'd see about sharing some of my stuff here finally as time permits.

This is my most recent set of builds, the Gendrone Prowler and Mordrone Sentry.

It's basically two outlanders minus the heads, a GITD head for the 'core', the Cellunaut helmet, Saphflower head and Crysaber hilts from accesory set 2 and a single Pheyden arm I wasn't using on my Quartz Tracker build.

Here is another angle on the Infectionaut

And the original build with only one Outlander body Image

Microbry, can you tell me if that big blue guy in the back is just one RoboForce kit for the main body or did you add some extra parts. Excluding the WoM shields on his shoulders and back. I really love that build and was trying to figure out if I had the parts to make the main body.

All of the builds are really great but he really caught my eye. A little giant acroyear vibe to me not sure you were going for that but I like him just the same. :-D

Using a Weaponeer of Monkaa, Kabuto Mushi, 2 Axis Joints, and 2 Phase Arm sets (minus only two parts), I conjured up this strange beast...

...I also forgot to add in the small chrome spheres

Yeah, I only bought a single deluxe Ecroyex-type set. The parts I didn't use went mostly into adding some color highlights to the first release all-gray Maxx Zero. :)

This build is something heavily influenced by stuff made by piotmetans.
Took him apart and made a space knight thing, but I haven't gotten around to photos yet.

Been trying to put together a standard axis armored Kabuto Mushi for my shelves and I finally came up with something that I feel looks balanced. The dark traveler scarves really helped to finish off the build for me.

What's more badass than a big ass demon king?

A giant ass, techno-organic, draconian, demon king.

How. HOW. How in the nine hells do you do this, eewk?

In all seriousness, what's your design process on these big builds? Do you start with a claw idea and go from there, do you sketch it all out, or...?

Thanks guys. Glad u like it.

Funny u asked too, cappy. Joe on Glyan Alliance FB group asked the same thing. All I can say is there're 3 Roboforce Sentinels, 9 KMIIs, 2 Gobons, a whole bunch of Onell joints, Callgrim, Spy Monkey and Outlander spare parts in this fella. The additional 3 Roboforce really added a lot of weight to it. The previous version probably didn't weigh half as much.

As for build process, kranix, nothing really structured. Mostly I just look at parts to see what else they might resemble. (I have a biase towards monster parts, and Mushis are best in that area for me.) From there, I see if I have parts for a basic silhouette to gauge the final size then it's just a series of little "how do I get this part to fit that" or the occasional "this could make a good ___ if I..." The parts lead the direction. Probably why I'm so inefficient coz I often tweak and redo.

To be honest, I'm less of a mech fan and more into organic body horror. Was apprehensive for the longest time about adding Roboforce due to fear of overall shift in aesthetics. But man, those solid bricks of Dr Kent added the much needed stability in the base of the figure to allow even bigger things to happen on the upper half. No doubt, Roboforce is the equivalent of the Marvel Select Juggernaut of Glyos.

I often sacrifice structural integrity for aesthetics, unlike the more solid builds of yours (kranix), piotmetan's, MoralWarfare's and many other talented folks here. I've been trying to make a conscious effort to address that issue with the more recent builds. It's been a steep learning curve trying to keep up with you guys but the results are most satisfying. And that's no lip service. :psweat:

Pardon the long post. The building is over but I guess that adrenaline hasn't worn off yet.

Picked up a Black Skull Glyan and an EMD Glyan, as well as a few more Glyans. While there was a black Glyan was featured in the EMD wave, the grey panel lines matches well with the Black Skull Glyan's colors.

After some strange events in dealing, I wound up with a baggy of many ultra silver parts. I sat down with them during a bout of insomnia last night to make a full figure with just the bits in the bag. This is the result. I've dubbed him Titanius Unum, "the one made from titans". The name also references his one eye, titanium coloring, and the fact that there's three Axis Argens and a Phaseon Eneriun in there.

Just having fun with making vehicles for my Knights of the Slice figures. This guy started as sort of armored sled, then turned into a little bigger version of it.

ImageImage

Then I noticed I had inadvertently built some folding ability into it and it became a robot sled.

ImageImage

...and because I can never leave something well enough alone, here is a rebuild after I just received some Banimon and AV Robots

Image
Image

It still retains the "Rider" mode, but it seems more like a means to lock together with something else...
