Here's a pair I put together from the Selogo drop. The blue parts count includes a Glyan, axis joint set x2, hub set x2, phase sets x2 & a swing joint set. In addition I used a Selogo gray swing joint set, a standard black swing joint set & some Xulturri clear yellow bits from the Evolver set.
Image
A bit of background info, I decided to go with the lizard-like Axilloid build for my Xulturri Evolver. I made a minor mod to the build by leaving out the axis ball halve under the head because I needed it for my blue Glyan's helmet visor. The Axilloid build also doesn't use the Noboto chest/pelvis/scarf/limbs so I made use of some of those spare bits along with a few pins. The Noboto chest came in handy for this jetpack build for the Glyan.
Image
Most of the rest found it's way into this big guy's build and weapon. As some of you might assume the weapon is 100% inspired by the riot control baton from the First Order Stormtrooper that Finn squares off against in The Force Awakens. Once I had this guy built up I wanted him to have a weapon that suited his size. My Glyan actually had different blasters that I had to reconfigure for the right parts for this weapon. I wanted the fold-out stun rods to be as flush as possible to the baton so I was swapping bits around over and over until I had the look I wanted.
ImageImageImage
All in all I like the builds. Aside from just missing the mark of being a contained build duo I think the thing kinda bothers me is the look of the gray swings. I'm not completely sold on how they look, the Glyan might look better in all blue. Anyway, I hope the builds and the insight were worth the ride.

I can't believe I missed this post the first time around. This is all great work, VEN! Nice work on making the stun baton flush when retracted, which is surprisingly difficult to pull off with Glyos builds. The black swings fit with the big guy's black highlights, and the proportions on both have a very natural feel to them. Keep up the good work, my friend!

On the other hand, some of us just keep fiddling with established builds:

Image

Okay, minor variations on a theme, no surprises. Though I did come up with these little guys:

Image

Leftovers from the Argenesis build. Adding a second fist to the base build requires a second Hub Set, but this guy doesn't seem to mind. Mostly because he seems fond of going berserk anyway.

ImageImage

So, adding a second Hub Set and a second Phase Arm set to the Phase Sentinel version of the build gives you all the parts to make this, which is actually the same height as a Traveler. I only kick myself that I did not grab the Robo Force weapon sets in Skaterriun grey when they first dropped.

I promise that I will get back to building proper someday.

Kranix, The Phase Sentinel combos look great, I especially like how the Varellius metal blue and the Cosmic Wave clear blue mesh. Your leftover parts 'bots never disappoint, its part of the reason I don't like leaving bits alone after I have a couple builds done. I agree that the RF weapons set in Skatteriun would help equip the last 'bot.

As for that build promise, I'm gonna hold you to that once we get our August 3rd drop stuff. I'm ready. :eny6-blast:

Thanks for the kind words, all in all I like how that pair of builds came out. So much so that I decided to make a similar build for my Bio-Hunters squad. Going in I had to make changes because of the parts I had handy but I wanted something a bit sleeker & sinister for this version anyway. Using the Phase Arm part as the head in these colors really gives it this Ultron vibe that's fits perfectly. The double stun baton is the same build other than the clear red rivets (from the SpyMonkey original armory set) I used instead of pins. I still have something left to build with all the leftover Callgrim/AV Robot/accessory set parts, hopefull I can get to that one soon.

Looking good Artic_, especially like the Junkduster. He'd fit right in with my Bio-Hunter squad.

OK, here's my beefy build for Cruel the Detonator. First thing first, I do plan to add blasters for his forearms so this version is his non-attack mode.

Front view and back angled view of my Cruel. I used parts from the Ultimate Edition Cruel, the Warrior Edition Weaponeer and Fixer the Helper that make up the official Ultimate Final Battle Cruel build. I was going for a look closer to the shape of the vintage Cruel but still over-sized and imposing like the official build.
Image

Here's a look at the "guts" of the build. The upper torso essentially hovers over the lower part with the treads. The middle pic shows it best, you can see the angled structures that go from the top sides of the treads and connect to parts of the back upper torso. There's plenty of connection points that needed pins so getting those snug are key, especially in the inner shoulder section that's made of both sets of Robo Force hands. I might try a 2nd reworked version to get the antennae a bit closer to the sides of his head but I'm pleased with this guy overall. LMK your thoughts/questions!

Nice adaptation, and while I miss the horns, the backpack is a very neatly designed solution to keep that torso stable. Well done!

The Bio-Master builds are great, don't get me wrong, but it's clear why this one is your favorite. What's really nice about it is that it looks like it was made from all the leftover bits from other builds, but it just somehow works as a cohesive whole. Great job!

VENENOR wrote:

So, from the perspective of someone who could never get the hang of building with RF stuff, this is basically black magic. Not only is this build technically impressive, floating torso bits and all, but it also oozes character, especially with regards to the source material. This is Cruel. This is a 'bot that will mess you up, wreck your ride, steal from your mama, and kick your dog, and there's just about nothing you can do about it. That's how well the imposing, menacing nature of this 'bot is baked into this build. Kudos!

Oh, so, I did a thing:

Image

One of each Accessory Set, based on the Combodrone from way back. Didn't add all the Switch Pins, but it's otherwise contained. (The Hub Dome is being used as a backpack.) It's also a bit more stable than its Swing-less cousin, so victory there!

Back to chomping at the bit about the Anniversary drop...

Got some more cool builds to show!

I had forgotten the key element of Ol'Junkie: his Junkduster.
Image

Secondly, after trying to make a tiki mask,it ended up a bit different.

The Lord of all Hells: The Demon Lord Zeraxos
Image

While making him I ended up with a really silly build.
An evil Earth Worm

Heh. One can see your build progression from Evil Earthworm to Demon Lord. Maybe the former is his species' larval stage?

Maybe Earthworm Jim just fell onto some really, really messed-up times.

It sure is one heck of a build, Artic_! I'm a little stuck on how the forehead and mouth are attached, though. Any chance of getting some behind-the-scenes shots?

Don't rack your brain over it. It's a Banimon gun.

Sorry for the double post, but I've gotten into this glyos groove and I keep building stuff.
First is a continuation of the Scrapduster; this one being Pipedreams
Image
Secondly we have a evolving build I've been trying to make work for awhile.
Mushidou(The name came first, then the build process)

Realized that two Nobotos in the same colorway meant a lot of building potential- Ended up with this guy, using two Nobotos and one Switch Pin. He's a bit taller than a Traveler, a bit balance-impaired, and tough to pose.

Villser-fused Argen. This dude is huge- 5 inches tall! This is the build I'm most proud of by far, especially with the matching colorway.

1x Villser Hybrid / 1x Buildman Hybrid, plenty of parts leftover

Another day; more builds.
Firstly, continuing my love of the bio-master. With a little bit of banimon and armorvore spice you get:
Dune Walker

Next up, another creepy beast

And to fight said beast,Dragon Warrior Heat

I concur with Cappy: this looks like it stepped right out of an SNES-era game where you fight vampires in space.

Oh, I did things again, and as promised from IG:

ImageImage
Possessed of unparalleled strength and ruthless cunning, the Brutalis relies purely on physical strength to take down its foes. Woe be to the poor soul that should be caught in its pincer weapons...

ImageImage
As Villser seem to best "understand" a thing by absorption and assimilation, it should be no surprise that one would eventually consume Phase technology. What was unexpected, however, was the Villser's gradual conversion to a biomechanical organism and a separation from the collective intelligence that Villser seem to share...

Image
The head of the Nemica research team, Vossar wishes to better understand the biology of the Villser contained there. While rumor has it that the jovial scientist is keeping some secrets from Glyaxia Command, no Varteryx has ever doubted Vossar's character...

ImageImageImage
Following the Villser raid, Vossar's field research was in desperate need of equipment. With the remains of a fallen Phase Sentinel, Vossar's team was able to asemble an autonomous probe, thereby allowing them a chance to further study what happened at Nemica...

Image
With dual mutlitools and some extra parts, this Hub Drone is ready to lend a helping hand!

Thanks for looking, everyone!

This is really cool. Might become my go-to "default" configuration for the Villser (assuming we continue to get Axis Joints and Phase Arms in matching colors). Well done, kranix!

Here's a contained build (well, almost—there's a single Axis half left over) I thought you folks might enjoy. It uses one Villser Soldier and two Axis Joint sets:
